For the first part of February, I will be counting down my 14 loves  until I get to February 14th.  This is a great way to get back to blogging daily again, and a way to make Valentine’s Day worth it this year!

I love Fridays!

Who doesn’t love Fridays, especially when your work schedule is Monday-Friday?!  Fridays are the light at the end of a workweek tunnel.  Fridays are awesome.

That’s all I have to say about that!

I love scrapbooking.

I officially started scrapbooking last year.  I attempted to do a Project Life type year long scrapbooking project and failed miserably.  While creating my weekly scrapbook pages, I got the itch to try an actual traditional scrapbook layout.  I did one and fell in love!  I’ve decided to scrapbook layouts on 8 1/2 x 11 paper, not 12 x 12 like most scrapbookers use.

It’s a great creative outlet and allows me to create an album of memories for M to hopefully enjoy as she gets older.

I hope she will learn to appreciate these fun layouts of pictures and memories.  I’m so glad I started scrapbooking.  I only wish I did it sooner!

I love pictures.

Even before I started scrapbooking, I’ve loved taking pictures.  With as many pictures that I take on a daily basis, I still feel like I should be taking more.  I know, I know, I have to enjoy the moments as I live them, and sometimes a picture isn’t always top priority.  But it’s still nice to have the memory in a tangible form.

I love looking back at old pictures to see how far we’ve come.  Not only M, or Hubby and I, but just my entire life.  Pictures hold so much history.  I know I’ll never be able to remember every story from every picture, but having that snapshot of that time period and that moment is enough for me.  I think that’s why scrapbooking is so important.  It’s important to try to capture the memory that goes along with the picture.

I love Vitamin C.

Hubby started it.  He got sick and ended up with bronchitis.  Suddenly, M started getting congested.  Then, the congestion travelled down into her throat and she started coughing.  Her coughing and conjestion led to some out of the ordinary breathing that I just couldn’t feel comfortable with, so I took M to the urgent care on a Sunday.  She was diagnosed with bronchitis, with some mild asthma symptoms.

I’m just waiting for it to be my turn.

Since Hubby got sick, I’ve been loading myself with Vitamin C.  I’ve been taking pills, drinking juice, and eating pumelos.. I love pumelos!  Oh wait.. I’ll save that love for tomorrow!  I know, too much Vitamin C doesn’t do any good because it just goes right through your system, but I have to try.  As of now, my throat is starting to feel funny.  Not pain, but just not normal.  I’m fighting it as much as I can.  I’m mentally trying to be stronger than the virus.

“I will NOT get sick.  I will NOT get sick.”

Vitamin C is my friend.

I love music.

Music has always, always, always been a huge part of my life.  From being a toddler learning how to work the record player, to now.. I’ve always sang.  I’ve always danced.  I’ve always associated songs with certain moments in my life.  For example, I was listening to Debbie Gibson on Spotify.  No, I’m not joking, I LOVE Debbie Gibson.  Electric Youth came on and it brought back so many fun memories.  I had to look up the actual Electric Youth album and listen to all the songs.  That brought back the fun memories of hanging out with my cousins and taping our voices on a tape recorder.

It’s electric!

I love our Chromecast.

I mentioned a while back that we purchased a Chromecast.  It is seriously one of the best purchased Hubby and I have made in our 3+ years of marriage.   We barely watch TV anymore.  I love it.  I really do!  I think everyone needs to go out and buy one.  (No, I’m not being paid.)

I love documentaries.

Call me a nerd.  Call me boring.  Call me anything you want, but I love documentaries.  I love the documentary tv shows, documentary movies, documentary anything.  Hubby and my current obsessions are documentaries on foreign countries, specifically, the Philippines.  I guess you can say we are trying to get in touch with our anestors.  It’s a fun way to learn about different things.
